It can be applied as intermediate of medicine and refrigerant of special refrigeration equipment, basic chemical raw material of synthetic fiber, synthetic rubber, synthetic plastic and synthetic ethanol. It is also used in the manufacture of vinyl chloride, ethylene oxide, styrene, acetic acid, acetaldehyde ethanol and for fruit ripening.
