Gas Dehydration Units are packaged systems designed to remove water vapor from natural gas streams to meet process and pipeline specifications.

The primary function of gas dehydration units is to reduce the moisture content in natural gas by removing water vapor.

Effective dehydration prevents hydrate formation, corrosion, freezing, and operational issues in downstream equipment such as compressors, pipelines, metering systems, and LNG facilities.

3.Typical Configuration

Gas dehydration units are commonly supplied as skid-mounted packages and are available in two proven configurations:

• TEG Dehydration Package, using glycol absorption technology

• Molecular Sieve Dehydration Unit, using adsorption technology

A typical system includes dehydration vessels, circulation or regeneration equipment, control instruments, and associated piping and valves.
